Our Lego League team is doing a project to help promote our favorite hobbies in Warroad. I like baseball because it’s a good workout, you can hang out with friends on your team and compete together. 

My favorite baseball resource or mentor? I got a black eye playing baseball, but my coaches helped me to not be afraid of the ball. They encouraged my whole team that we can all play, “you just gotta get out there and have good sportsmanship”. I like to watch professional baseball MLB, but I remember they all started out in little league, too. 

My advice for someone just starting out playing baseball?

1. Play hard, be good, be safe. 

2. Find someone to play catch with and make it fun. 

3. Join a team! In Warroad we have t-ball & youth ball all the way to adult league. Youth Baseball
